We have some incredible farmers growing awesome plants in and around Ithaca, and many of them grow in GreenTree premium soils!
And we want more people to know about these awesome farmers and their awesome plants. So this spring we're hosting our first Farm to Garden Days: transplant sales and garden workshops.
Over three Saturdays a variety of farmers and growers will set up stands in our parking lot selling their wares. Stock your gardens with roses, more than 100 varieties of heirloom tomatoes, more than 60 varieties of peppers, cucumbers, squash, lettuce, broccoli and Brussels sprouts, as well as fruit trees, shrubs and perennials.
We'll also host workshops throughout the days on biochar, rose care, mushrooms, and more, plus offer tours of GreenTree's soil manufacturing facilities.
Here's the when and where: 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays, May 21 and 28, and June 4 at GreenTree, 606 Elmira Rd, Ithaca. RSVP on Facebook!
