Hugelkultur bed from richsoil.com
We've been so busy in the store making soils we feel like we're only just starting to think about actually going outside!
Fortunately, permaculture expert Sean Dembrowsky is getting us started this year, with plans to install hugelkultur raised beds outside our store this weekend.
Want to see how it's done?
Please join us and Sean from Edible Acres on Saturday at GreenTree.
With years of experience in permaculture farming principles, forest farming approaches and perennial plant propagation, Sean will lead a demonstration including hands-on elements in the creation of incredibly resilient, self-sufficient gardens that yield year after year. We will be using simple to acquire, free and inexpensive local resources to build an amazing garden on what was once a driveway.
