The New Year is flying by already. 2013 is going to be another big year for GreenTree, and being your trusted source for great high quality products, consistently low prices, and sound advice is our No. 1 resolution.
What a blast we had in 2012! We successfully transitioned GreenTree Garden Supply to our great new location, relaunched our website, and turned parts of our new warehouse into our “Soil Shack.”
None of this could have happened without the efforts of the GreenTree team. Reid came on board full time as store manager after his parents Jay and Terry retired from the business. He brings a wealth of experience and expertise, together with James (sales), Holly (marketing). I am lucky to have such a dedicated team who have worked together to make this happen.
On Labor Day we all became “movers” and then “contractors” as we moved to and renovated our new spot just down the road at 606 Elmira Rd. Despite the upheaval, we kept the store open throughout. It was not always easy, but we did it, and I am proud of what we have achieved. If you haven’t yet visited, stop by and check out the new location. We’re continuing to make improvements, and we’re finding it’s shockingly easy to expand our “stuff” to fill the new space! Plus, in a few months we’ll have hot peppers from our display plants that we’d love to share – ghost, scorpion, habañero? You’re welcome to try.
Looking forward, we share your commitment to sustainable gardening and being part of a vibrant local community. Over the coming months we will launch our exciting line of GreenTree soils. Developed here at GreenTree in the “Soil Shack” and manufactured on site, these soils are designed to provide great results both indoors and out whilst doing good for the environment, community, and local economy.
We will continue to bring the latest products and innovations in gardening and value to you. Our carefully selected range of products means we always have a great solution for your project needs at the right price. Prices are always competitive, typically more than 10% below MSRP, and even as our suppliers raise their prices, our prices will be the lowest in the area. Check in regularly in store and on our website for our weekly special.
I am personally committed to providing our customers the best value possible. We flatly refuse to be undersold. So, if you find a product that we sell cheaper elsewhere in North America, we will beat the price. Bring us an estimate, a receipt, or an ad. Or ask us to call the competition and check the price ourselves. We'll beat that price. (Find more information on our low-price promise here.)
OK that’s it. There’s more to come, but writing this got me so fired up I need to go out and make some soil…
